Circulation Policy
The circulation policy for students is listed below. The intent of this policy is to promote a sense of responsibility and ensure that the collection is available to all students.
-Students may check out books for two weeks.
-Magazines may be checked out for one week.
-Reference books, whether bound or unbound, may be checked out overnight only; certain reference material may not leave the builiding at all.
-Students may renew books.
Fines
- Students will be fined 5 cents per day for overdue books Monday through Friday. Fines will not be charged for Saturdays, Sundays, holidays or institute days.
-Overdue magazines and reference materials are subject to a 10 cent per day fine.
Reference books are due before 8:30 a.m.
-In the case of a damaged book, the borrower is charged an appropriate fine for the damage.
-In case of a lost book, the borrower will be charged the replacement price. If a lost book is found, a refund will be made.
